Allyson Milman,
D.D.S. & Owner
Dr. Allyson joined Yosemite Dental Care in June of 2018 and has been voted best dentist for several years running! She is passionate about dentistry and providing excellent care with respect and a friendly face - her humming is quiet comforting. Dr. Allyson chose dentistry because it combines art, science, techology and medicine - all while allowing her to help people and work hands-on everyday. She moved to Mariposa with her husband and loves to be active outdoors, read and spend time with her family. Fun fact about Dr. Allyson - she is a big time Harry Potter fan!
Karen Watanakeeree,
D.D.S.
Since joining Yosemite Dental Care in June 2016, Dr. Karen has rapidly become one of the most loved and tireless forces in the office. Dr. Karen never steps down from a challenge, and she always goes the extra mile for her patients and co-workers. Dr. Karen is excited to raise her growing family here in Mariposa and continue the family tradition of providing excellent dental care to the community. She enjoys camping with family and all things Disney.
Thomas Wieg,
D.D.S. (Retired)
Dr. Tom founded Yosemite Dental Care in 1984 and has been practicing dentistry in Mariposa since his retirement from general dentistry in 2023. Aside from his many educational and professional achievements, Dr. Tom enjoys hiking and photography, as well as spending time with his all his grandchildren. When he’s not busy handling the orthodontic cases at Fast Braces Fresno, he dreams of someday hiking the John Muir trail.

Jamie Schlumbohm,
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jamie joined Yosemite Dental Care in 2015 and has been a part of our dental family ever since! Jamie starts everyday with a cup of coffee and has always had a passion for teeth - especially when it comes to removing stains and making smiles shine brighter! You'll know Jamie is your hygienist when you see bright nail polish or hear a sweet hum jamming to the office music.
Briana Alexander,
Registered Dental Hygienist
Since joining Yosemite Dental Care in 2025, Briana has quickly become known as a gentle favorite leaving her patients feeling shiny and clean! Briana jumped into the compassionate role caring for our patient's smiles immediately after finishing hygiene school. She is a total tooth enthusiast! Fun fact about Bri - she thrives off of anything spooky and Disney.
Sara Baskind,
Registered Dental Hygienist
Sara has been with our office since 2018 and is the tiniest but mightiest hygienist ever! She was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry after having an exceptional dentist as a child Sara carried that same passion for patient care into working as a dental hygienist. She enjoys helping patients acheive optimal oral health - especially through thorough and rewarding scaling and root planing treatments.

Taylor Schaeffer,
Registered Dental Hygienist
Taylor joined our office in 2023, starting out by learning the ins and outs of dentistry—and quickly fell head over heels for the field! Her passion for dentistry led her to dental hygiene school, and she’s now a Registered Dental Hygienist who loves taking the time to truly connect with her patients and provide thoughtful, quality care.
Fun fact about Taylor: she’s a total beachy girl at heart! When she’s not caring for smiles, you’ll likely find her soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the ocean, or spending time with her two favorite pups.

Patrick Moerdyk,
Registered Dental Assistant
Pat has been with Yosemite Dental Care since 2023 and has been an integral part of our team! He is the kind, present assistant keeping doctors on track and keeping the balance in this female-led practice. Patrick was inspired to join the dental field from his own personal experiences in childhood offices and now loves every part of it - from chairside assisting to lab work. You'll catch Pat spending time with his daughter, rockclimbing and skateboarding when not in the office.
Margarita Altareb Avila Lopez,
Registered Dental Assistant
Maggy is one of our long-standing team members and is basically sunshine in human form! She loves all things cheery, bright, and—of course—a good reason to celebrate! Inspired to join the dental field by her sister, Maggy has found her groove assisting with implants and impressions.
If there’s a party to be had, Maggy will find it—and probably bring the decorations, too! Her fun-loving energy and joyful spirit make every day in the office a little brighter.

Registered Dental Assistant
Kelsey has been in the dental field for more than 16 years, so she knows a thing or two about teeth—and how to make a trip to the dentist a little more fun! She’s the quirky spark of our office, bringing a breath of fresh air to dentistry and an uncanny ability to make even the most nerve-wracking appointments feel easy, comfortable, and (dare we say) enjoyable! Allyson (Ally) Gauthier,
Registered Dental Assistant
Allyson (Ally) made the leap from serving up mixed drinks to serving up smiles—and she’s loving every minute of it! She dabbles in both industries (bartending) and quickly discovered a passion for dentistry. By learning the ins and outs of the field right here in the office, Ally gained the skills and experience to become a Registered Dental Assistant.
When she’s not helping create healthy, happy smiles, you’ll find Ally spending quality time with her daughter and, most likely, hanging out with her furry (and not-so-furry) crew—her dogs and her pig!

Crystal Laam,
Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator
Crystal joined Yosemite Dental Care in 2020 and has been a constant face ever since! Initially learning dental terminology from the ground up, Crystal developed her skillset and jumped into insurance coordination as well as the day to day tasks that keep the office running behind the scenes. Crystal was raised in Mariposa area and loves seeing our patient family leave with smiles on their faces. When not in the office, Crystal enjoys hiking, crafting, and spending time with loved ones.

Ciera Raso,
Treatment Coordinator, Social Media Specialist
Since joining Yosemite Dental Care in 2025, Ciera has quickly become the person all of our patients interact with and leave with confidence and care. Ciera jumped into the compassionate role caring for all of our patient family and treatment coordination. She is the master behind all of the creative social media content and office fun. Ciera is a full time mother who thrives off of caffeine and chocolate!
Katie Rule,
Office Assistant
Katie has been with our office since 2022 and is the behind-the-scenes keeper of all appointment confirmations. She is the friendly and helpful voice you hear whenever you call the office. Her favorite work task actually involves a productive day of scanning and organizing documents. A long time Mariposa local, Katie loves to spend time with her family and dogs. Fun fact about Katie - she will never say no to pizza or sour gummy bears!
